Teardrop Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)

Looking to provide a spot for aging parents to move into their house while also maintaining a separate space, these forward-thinking clients came up with the idea to create an ADU that would house the parents. Brach Design’s solution looks a bit like a teardrop trailer being towed by the existing main residence. ADUs allow for such flexibility. They can be within or attached to the primary residence or they can stand alone from the primary residence. The choices are many depending on the constraints of your lot.
